What it is
A real school, taught live
The Vantage Online School is not a library of recorded videos with a certificate at the end. Lessons are taught live by subject teachers, on a timetable, to a class that meets at the same time each week.
Every live session is also recorded, so a student can go back over a lesson for revision, or catch up properly if illness or a timezone got in the way. Learning fits the schedule rather than the other way round.
It exists for families the chapters cannot reach: students overseas, students in cities where a genuine British curriculum school is not an option, families who have relocated mid year and do not want their child to start again, and students who need a timetable that fits around something else.

All live sessions are recorded and stay available, for revision, reinforcement, or catching up on a class that was missed.
French and Arabic
Both languages are taught here, and students at our Karachi chapters take them through the Online School. Few schools in the city offer either at this level.
Two examination boards
Cambridge for IGCSE and Pearson Edexcel for A Levels, with IGCSE subjects assigned to whichever board suits them best.
Classes that stay small
An online class has no physical ceiling, so most providers keep filling it. We cap ours anyway, because a teacher who cannot see every student is not really teaching them.
Built for other timezones
Students join from Pakistan, the Gulf and further afield. Timetabling takes that into account rather than assuming everyone is in Karachi.
Continuity if you move
A family relocating away from Karachi keeps the same school, the same curriculum and, where possible, the same teachers.
Every stage, online
From Foundation Stage 1 to A Levels
The Online School is a school in its own right, not a sixth form bolted onto a campus. A child can start here at three and a half and leave with A Levels, without ever setting foot in a building.

Early Years
FS1 and FS2, ages 3.5 to 5
Play based, and taken seriously
Early literacy and numeracy, motor skills, and the social and emotional growth that everything later rests on. Poems, stories, art and play, in a structured but imaginative setting.
Live sessions at this age are short and frequent rather than long, and a parent is expected nearby. The aim is a child who is curious and confident enough to speak up, not one who can already read.

Years 1 and 2, ages 5 to 7
From play into structure
Reading fluency, foundational numeracy and the habits of a classroom, taught in an environment that still prioritises warmth and encouragement over pace.
This is where the two learning streams begin, so families can choose the breadth that suits the child.

Key Stage 2
Years 3 to 6, ages 7 to 11
Depth, and the beginnings of independence
Students go further into each subject, build stronger reasoning and communication, and start producing work on their own initiative. Project based learning and live discussion carry much of the weight.
Formative assessment runs throughout, so a gap is caught in the week it appears rather than at the end of a reporting cycle.

Years 7 to 9, ages 11 to 14
The bridge into examined study
Mathematics, English, Science, History, Geography, Global Perspectives and ICT, each taught by a subject specialist rather than a generalist covering the timetable.
By the end of Year 8 a student chooses their IGCSE subjects. By the end of Year 9 they should have the academic maturity and time management that examined courses assume, which for an online student matters more than it does on a campus.

Years 10 and 11, IGCSE
Cambridge and Pearson Edexcel
Two compulsory subjects and a minimum of three electives, with each subject entered through whichever of the two boards suits it best. Recognised in more than 160 countries.
Vantage students sit as regular school candidates, which is what makes predicted grades, references and equivalency documents possible. The difference is set out below.

Years 12 and 13, A Levels
Pearson Edexcel A Levels
AS Level in Year 12 builds the foundations, A2 in Year 13 takes them to depth. A minimum of three subjects, chosen against the degree the student intends to read.
Delivered as an official Edexcel partner centre, with live lectures, smaller tutorials, virtual labs and guided practicals. The subject pathways are below.
Learning streams, Years 1 to 8
Two routes, the same standards
Both streams follow the British National Curriculum and are taught with equal rigour. Families can choose, or switch, each year, with a consultation to work out the best fit.
Comprehensive Learning
A broad and balanced curriculum for families who want the full British experience, with creativity, languages and personal development sitting alongside the core.

Core Focus Learning

After Year 8. From Year 9 onwards every student follows the IGCSE curriculum, choosing a minimum of five subjects and building a pathway around their strengths and their intended degree, guided by our academic counsellors.

STEM
Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology, with the emphasis on problem solving and scientific enquiry.
Business and social sciences
Business, Economics and Accounting, taught through case studies, data literacy and decision making.
Language and technology
English and Computer Sciences, building communication, analysis and digital fluency.

Sitting the examinations
As an Edexcel centre we handle the logistics rather than leaving families to work them out. Registration is either in house or through coordinated sittings at British Council examination centres worldwide, which keeps assessment secure and accessible whether a student is in Karachi or abroad.
Worth understanding
Regular candidate or private candidate
Students can sit IGCSE and A Level papers privately, without a school. It costs less and it closes doors. This is the comparison most families are never shown.

Universities increasingly ask for school recommendation letters, teacher references, predicted grades and equivalency certificates. Those documents are only issued to regular school candidates, which is why the cheaper route often turns out to be the expensive one.
The platform
One login, the whole school
We have built our own learning environment rather than renting somebody else's. It is AI assisted and it is a complete ecosystem, not a video tool with a homework folder bolted to the side. Parts of it are already in use, and the rest arrives through the academic year.
A student gets one unique ID and everything sits behind it: live classes, the recording of every one of them, attendance, messages, homework, classwork, assignments and mock assessments. Nothing is scattered across apps, chat groups and email threads.
Parents get their own supervisory access, so you can see what your child has been set, what they have handed in and how they are doing, without having to ask them.
The platform is being rolled out in stages and will be named closer to full launch. Admissions can tell you exactly what is live for your child's year group today.

Complete the registration form
The online registration form collects your child's details and current academic position. It takes a few minutes.

Talk to admissions
We confirm the right year group and stream, answer your questions, and set out the fee schedule for your currency in writing.

Choose subjects
From Year 9, students select their IGCSE subjects with guidance from our academic counsellors, using the subject choice form.

Orientation, then start
Once fees are settled the student receives their timetable and their platform login, and new families are walked through it before lessons begin.
