Most schools start with a building and fill it. The Vantage started with a question: what would a school look like if it was designed around the individual child rather than the intake number?

In a market focused on volume, franchising and cost per head, The Vantage set out to compete on the thing that is hardest to fake: what actually gets taught, and who verifies it.
We follow the National Curriculum in England without local substitutions, using the UK published textbooks the curriculum was written around. Our students sit examinations set by Cambridge Assessment International Education and by Pearson Edexcel, and the school is part of the British Council Partner Schools Global Network.
That is three independent bodies with a view on our teaching. It is a harder way to run a school than picking one board and moving on, and it is the reason a Vantage report card means something outside this building.

"Every child matters" is not a wall poster here. It is the reason we teach one continuous curriculum, the reason we answer to three external bodies, and the reason we open a new chapter only when we can staff it properly.

Closing a real academic gap
The Vantage was created in response to a growing need for British overseas schooling in Pakistan with strict compliance to the National Curriculum in England. We have bridged that gap by offering a complete and cohesive British curriculum, from the Early Years Foundation Stage through to IGCSE, without the breaks and substitutions that usually appear along the way.
Our educational strategy and our refusal to settle are what drive this forward. We put our attention on teaching standards and learning strategies throughout the school, because that is the area proven to have the single largest impact on a child's progress.

Every room is air conditioned and purpose built, with space to move around. In a Karachi summer that is not a luxury, it is the difference between a child following the lesson and a child waiting for it to end.
